Eating Disorder Nutrition Support
Compassionate care for healing your relationship with food and body
Food-neutral, weight-inclusive support to help you find peace, freedom, and confidence again.

Living with an eating disorder or disordered eating is exhausting. Food becomes stressful, your body feels like the enemy, and every day can feel like an uphill battle. You don’t need another set of rigid rules or someone telling you to “just eat.” You need care that understands the depth of what you’re going through — and that’s exactly what we provide.
At Teresa Romano Nutrition, our dietitians are specially trained and certified in eating disorder treatment and recovery, with expertise across the spectrum: anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, chronic dieting, and disordered eating patterns. We also specialize in child and adolescent eating disorder care, walking families through the difficult, confusing, and emotional recovery process to renourish their child.
This Service Is for You If…
-
You’re stuck in a cycle of food guilt, restriction, or bingeing, and want to break free.

You struggle with body image, food judgments, or feeling “out of control” with eating.
-
You’ve been told your labs, growth, or weight are “fine,” but you know your relationship with food is not.
-

-
You want a food-neutral, weight-inclusive approach that helps you heal without focusing on numbers or weight goals.
Reclaiming your relationship with food and body as a path to healing, self-compassion, and coming home to yourself

What Working Together Looks Like
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, we start by listening — to your story, your struggles, your hopes — and then create a plan that actually fits your life. Our dietitians bring both advanced training and real empathy to the table, and we work with you to:
-
A calm, judgment-free space to talk honestly about food and body struggles.
-
Individualized nutrition support that’s realistic, gentle, and designed for your unique needs.
-
Collaboration with your care team (therapists, physicians, treatment programs) for holistic support.
-
Guidance to restore balance, structure, and flexibility with eating — not rigid meal plans.
-
Education for parents and caregivers on how to support children and teens at home with food and nutrition without fear or pressure.
Our Promise
Our care is different because we start with listening, not lecturing. We see the whole person, not just the diagnosis. With advanced training in eating disorder treatment — and lived experience that allows us to truly empathize — we work alongside you to build trust, safety, and clarity around food.
Our goal is not only recovery, but helping you reclaim your body as home, care for yourself with compassion, and live a life that feels full and meaningful again.
Realistic, supportive nutrition care that meets you where you are — no judgment, no shame
