My Approach
Functional: I approach women's health with a holistic, integrative approach. I look for the root cause of your symptoms and address it with nutrition and herbal medicine.
Non-diet: I don't believe in unnecessary food restrictions or eliminating major food groups without medical necessity. I don't preach restrictive or fad diets. The best way to truly heal is to nourish the body with all the nutrients from all major food groups. For example, dairy is packed with nutrition important to for fertility, growing a healthy baby, and supporting maternal health. If you can tolerate it, eat it.
Food Neutral: I don't believe there is a single food out there that is inherently "good" or "bad". Food is food. The body needs the correct balance of nutrition from all major food groups to function appropriately.
Weight Inclusive: Weight is a correlation to health, not a causation. I don't focus on weight loss. I focus on deeply nourishing the body, correcting nutritional deficiencies, and reducing inflammation.
Individualized care: Each person is unique, so are the nutritional needs. There isn't one "diet" out there that will work for everyone. I review the details unique of your presentation and provide nutrition interventions that will work for YOU.

I use herbal medicine to support my clients nutritionally. I find it extremely helpful for overcoming challenges and improving well-being in ways that diet alone cannot achieve. This is a picture of Stinging Nettle, one of my favorite herbs to work with.
I've been interested in nutritional science since high school. I became fascinated with nutritional biochemistry and its role in either supporting proper body function or contributing to disease development. I have a deep love for nutrition research, navigating its nuances, and helping others find the nutrition plan that works for them.
I believe in the spiritual connection that food provides. It connects us to loved ones, roots us in cultural belonging, and reflects our relationship with ourselves. The way we interact with food can be one of the best forms of self-care or self-destruction.
My favorite place to be is on the beach at sunrise, either with my dog or paddleboarding—sometimes both.
I was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) five months postpartum. Receiving the diagnosis was incredibly validating, as it allowed me to finally receive appropriate treatment for my symptoms. I had unmanaged MCAS going into my first pregnancy which increased perinatal complications. If I had this diagnosis sooner, I could have managed symptoms prior to pregnancy and alleviated some of the burden.
I have learned so much from this experience and feel passionate about raising awareness of Mast Cell Activation, Dysautonomia and the high rate of autoimmune disorder present in women's health.
